Preacher:
Rev Ernest Aryee (Lighthouse Chapel Int. – Lilly of the Valley Cathedral)
Bible
Verse: Matthew 26:36 - 42
Song:
Prayer
is the key (2X)
Prayer is the master key
Jesus started with prayer and ended with
prayer
Prayer is the master key
The
song is to emphasise the need of prayer in every Christian’s life. We cannot
function well as Christians without prayer. Prayer is the only means by which
we speak to our Father. We communicate with Him any time or place through prayer.
Prayer is the only way through which we can defeat the devil and his followers.
God reveals the hidden to us when we pray.
On
Wednesday, we prayed for the church, our families and ourselves for the will of
God to happen to us. There is only one person who knows tomorrow and that is
God. And this same God happens to have a will for each and every one on earth.
Are we willing for the will of God to happen in our church or work place, our
homes or personal life? If yes then brethren in the Lord, I entreat you to pray
on these essential prayer topics, that the will of God be done in our lives.
Because
if for any reason the will of God does not happen in the church then one day we
will see the church not functioning as it should. Remember in the Bible when
Jesus had to personally drive out people who were selling and buying in a
church, they turned what used to be a place of worship into a market centre.
This could happen to the modern church as well unless the will of God happens
which can never be for His altar turned into a market.
We should also ask God for Him to grant us
grace so we can follow the will of God when and as it happens. This is because
it is very important we are able to follow the will of our Father in Heaven.
Most of the time, the will of God is contrary to our will thus the need for
wisdom to know and follow His will. This is my prayer and I hope it is also
your prayer. Stay Blessed in the Lord.
ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR SO YOU
CAN MAKE IT TO HEAVEN
